Film (finale version):

I actually had a bit of an issue finding other versions of this song (even after the 2007 revival), but it has been an ear-worm with me for a while now (I think it was in the background of Glee, or something that sounded vaguely like the song) and therefore I need to inflict it on other people.

(no subject)

I was away last Monday and just came back here as I was contemplating what to post this Monday to realise, wow, there are actually people here contributing! So hi to new people... I never know how or where to advertise a community like this one, but the contributions have been approved with great glee. My deepest apologies for the delay.

I do tend to have rather stereotypical musical choices -- this community could easily become All About Idina Menzel -- but I shall try to refrain myself. Feel free to make posts on a Monday! I find a bit of a musical day makes Mondays so much better myself.

Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog - My Eyes

Second Monday, and this time I felt the need for a little Neil Patrick Harris. Actually, I wanted to use something from Chicago but felt that two Ebb/Kander songs to start off with might be a little bland. And "My Eyes" just happens to be my favourite song from Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.

Performed by: Neil Patrick Harris and Felicia Day
Lyrics: Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed Whedon, and Joss Whedon
Music: Jed Whedon

Cabaret - Wilkommen

Willkommen! Bienvenue! Welcome to [community profile] musicals_monday! Now that I've finally gotten myself a little more ordered (although not as ordered as I'd have hoped, so things might be a little clichéd for the first few weeks), I thought it was time to start posting. And what better way to welcome people to the community than with "Willkommen" from Cabaret?
